For the last few days I've been hard at work completely rebranding this website, making it more focused on the Jamaraz Music Universe as a whole, instead of me. The JMU is my #1 priority right now (and will be for the foreseeable future!), so it was about time I updated this site to reflect that.
(I don't expect many people to read this, I'm just writing for the sake of it!)
As of writing, Aug 8th 2025, I have just published all the new changes... although some things may not be working right (e.g. buttons leading back to previous versions of the page)... if you're reading this a few days from now, then it should all be fine!!! I'm pretty sure it takes a day or two for the web to get used to the new structure of the site.
What's New
Well, the biggest change is exactly what you're reading now... I've added a blog!! There's kind of two sides to it, "News" will be for announcements and stuff like that, and "Personal" will be my own personal blog posts. For those who may remember, for about 6 months or so, I had a regular stream of email newsletters, written twice a month, just describing what I'd been up to in my life.
My idea is to have the "Personal" blog posts kind of replace that, because then they will be kept here on the website in the future, in case anyone fancied reading them later.
Uhhhh other stuff that's new is the "Music" page on my site, instead of just being a portal to my own Ricky Jamaraz music, is now a directory for all of the projects I'm working on as part of the JMU. When the list grows larger, I'll probably upgrade that page to be some sort of proper index where you can search and filter artists by genre or time period etc.
Jamaraz Music Universe wiki?
Now I do realise that a lot of my fans are still a bit overwhelmed my the whole idea of the JMU, and are very much in the dark about the lore surrounding the artists. Currently, the best place to read more about the universe is on the JMU's Fandom page, which is linked here. The page is fan-curated almost singlehandedly by Gracie, shout out to her.
In the future, I do plan to have an entire Jamaraz Music Universe wiki on this website, so everything is in one place. However this would be a big project and it's not something that necessarily needs to happen now, so I'll save that for a rainy day.
Anyway!
That's all from me right now. Thanks for being here and stay tuned.
